[IT] Nei primi del Novecento, in un’antica dimora aristocratica, la padrona, una donna adulta, ha appena partorito. Il bambino, però, è nato morto. Nella stessa casa una domestica ha diciotto anni e un figlio da allattare. Una desidera essere madre ad ogni costo. L’altra un futuro diverso da quello già scritto per lei.

Il loro incontro le porterà a confrontarsi con i loro desideri più profondi e a compiere una scelta che cambierà radicalmente le loro vite.

[EN] In an old aristocratic house, in the early 1900s, a matriarch gives birth to a stillborn baby. At the same time, an 18 year old house maid has a newborn son to nurse. The former wants nothing more than being a mother, whilst the latter yearns for a better future. Their encounter will force them to confront their deepest desires and make a choice that will radically change their lives.
